Haval is a sub-brand of Great Wall Motors, a Chinese automotive company, which was established on March 29, 2013. The brand primarily focuses on SUV models and operates independently from the Great Wall brand, with its own logo, R&D, production, and service systems. The core business of Haval is manufacturing and selling SUVs. It includes H series, M series, F series, and DaGou, among others.
In the Russian market, Haval vehicles and their components are provided exclusively by the brand's distributor, Haval. Haval started its operations in February 2014 and opened its first official dealership in Moscow in June 2015. Currently, Haval has 115 dealership centers in Russia and one dealership in Minsk, Belarus.
The Haval factory in Russia is located in Uzlovaya Industrial Park in the Tula region. It is the first fully-cycle production plant of Haval outside of China. The factory covers an area of 216 hectares and was inaugurated on June 5, 2019. It includes press, weld, paint, assembly workshops, as well as component production workshops. The factory incorporates modern engineering solutions to ensure environmental friendliness, energy efficiency, and safety. Currently, the factory produces models such as Haval F7, Haval F7x, Haval JOLION, and Haval H9.
